"For me, seeking astrological "counsel" was triggered by a series of personal and emotional crises which has not only shaken me to the core of my being, but which has stripped away the "layers of identity" I had defined myself by. As with any creative "destruction" of one's values and sense of identity/self, before any "new" identity emerges from the ashes adequately tempered by the flames of one's "traumas," there is the intermediate period when one feels lost, directionless, unfocussed, regretful, sad and alone. One feels rudderless and life exists as drifting. When the old rules no longer work, and no indication has been received as to the new future, the sense of rudderless despair sets in. This was my state when I went to Byron.
Initially, my hope was to receive some specific "predictions" to provide relief to my immediate circumstance. This I did not receive from Byron except on the most general of terms. His purpose as he explains it is to be a "messenger who shares with the individual his life purpose," and who explores the past as a guide to the soul's evolution and evolving karma/destiny. In a sense I would still have preferred some specific predictions that could have acted as a salve to soothe the material and psychological injuries recently sustained. However, by pointing me in the direction of my higher purpose, I do sense I've received a lot more than that which I had originally thought.
While much of the consultation has yet to prove itself, deep reflection makes one instinctively "feel" its accuracy, I do believe that Byron Barwick has, at least in my case, identified my soul-purpose/destiny, and though the specifics remain to be written by myself, I will say that one will be well advised to utilize the services of Byron Barwick."
